Police on the scene of homicide
Deputies block the entrance to Maple Springs Road
Coffee County authorities received a call at 8:03am that a woman was in the road near 5 points on Maple Springs road covered in blood. Police made their way to the female’s home at 7951 Maple Springs Road after finding out her address.
Once entering the home deputies found a 41-year-old male victim, Thomas Anthony Colucci, who had been shot multiple times and was deceased. The 36-year-old female, Connie King, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves says the homicide and assault is not being investigated as home invasion or domestic issue. He says they do not have a suspect at this time and the investigation is continuing. The body of the male has been taken to Nashville for an autopsy.
