Robert F. Cataldo, age 80 of Bradyville, Tennessee, passed away on March 18, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro.
Mr. Cataldo was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korea War and was a a retired Machinist with the Michigan Rivet Corporation and McMinnville Tool & Die.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Vincent and Edvige Cataldo; sister, Mary Hull; and brother, Lee Cataldo.
He enjoyed bowling, square dancing, reading and cross word puzzles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary A. Thompson Cataldo of Bradyville, TN; sons, Richard (Pina) Cataldo and Larry Cataldo both of Taylor, Michigan; daughters, Janet (Bob) Campbell of Grass Lake, MI and Diane Mezo of Jackson, MI; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-laws, Bobby (Carrie) Thompson of Beersheba Springs, TN and Jimmy (Pam) Thompson of Odessa, FL; special sister-in-law, Linda (Steve) Butler of Nashville, TN; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday evening, March 21, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday morning, March 22, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with the Reverends Lewis Johnson and Clayton Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at the Hunerwald Cemetery in Beersheba Springs, TN with Military Honors.
