THS students to perform in ‘Arts’ Showcase

Mayor Lane Curlee invites all Tullahoma citizens to attend the “THS Arts Showcase” Monday, April 16th. The Showcase will be held at the THS Lecture Hall from 11:45 to 1 p.m. Lunch will be available at a cost of $5 per person and will be served at 11:45. The program will immediately follow the lunch.

The Arts Showcase will feature the THS Singers, a scene from the upcoming THS play, Phantom of the Opera and the THS Jazz Ensemble. In addition, there will be visual displays from THS Art and Graphic Art students and science projects by THS 9th graders. Time permitting, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art THS auditorium adjacent to the Lecture Hall.

“The THS Arts Showcase is an excellent way to call attention to the tremendous artistic talent of our high school students. I promise it will be a very entertaining hour,” said Curlee.

The THS Lecture Hall only seats 90, so seats will be offered on a first come-first serve basis. Persons wishing to attend should call Robin Morrison at 455-2648 or email her at rmorrison@tullahomatn.gov.
